Description
The Navigator Globe is a 12-inch blue oceans smooth surface educational desk globe that features a gold color die-cast metal semi-meridian mounting and cherry finished round wood base.

Featuring over 4,000 named places and points of interest make this globe great for reference. You will find a higher level of topographic ocean-floor features, such as major trenches, such additional details are not available on most world globes.

The Navigator Globe's hardwood stand and riser match beautifully with the die-cast numbered meridian. Great for home or office.

It looks like that. It is nice. I thought it might seem small, but it is good. The lighting is good. We like it.

This is a Christmas present for a friend’s young children, ages 4 & 6, so we haven't wanted to completely unpack. From what we can see, the globe is beautiful and should be something they can use for a very long time. Very pleased so far.

Gift to son-in-law who wants to begin teaching my granddaughters ( 5 and 8) the world. Hope it encourages them to travel and see it as I have done(82). Light was kept all day Christmas to let them see it all. Learned to find where they live and where some of the family was born. Great gift!

I estimated what the 12" would look like but I was pleased that it was a real nice size for a desk style.
The colors are very compatible with my dining area, so I am pleased all the way around. I enjoy having it but it is also for my grandaughter when she visits!
