Here are some easy troubleshooting tips to help you get your MOVA Globe spinning again:
-
Ensure Adequate Lighting
Place your MOVA Globe directly under a bright lamp or near a sunny window. The light must penetrate the globe’s inner film to reach the solar cells that power its rotation. -
Avoid Magnetic Interference
Keep your MOVA Globe away from other MOVA Globes, metal objects, large electronics, or metal surfaces. These can disrupt the globe’s internal magnet and hinder its ability to spin. -
Experiment with Different Locations
Test your globe in various environments. If you’re in a high-rise building, try moving it to a lower floor, or switch locations between rooms or buildings to see if environmental factors affect the magnetic field. -
Use the Paperclip Trick
Place a paperclip or similar item on the globe for about an hour. This may help the internal magnet recalibrate and kickstart the rotation. If this doesn’t work, it might be time for a replacement.
If you’ve tried these steps and your globe still isn’t spinning, our Customer Support team is here to help. Please note that warranty assistance is only available for MOVA Globes purchased from our store.
