Barrel Globe

Beautiful globe. Helpful customer service and very fast shipment!

Had been looking for a globe that was more than decoration, but which would also fit in with the colors of my living room. This globe and its base were a perfect fit. The base is remarkable, giving the viewer the sense that the globe is hanging, while also protecting it along one side. Modern and evocative.

Our house was built in 1900, and we wanted a floor globe that wouldn’t be too modern for the house. The architectural styling of the Barrel globe is perfect. It’s well made, and we got exactly what we expected. An outstanding piece!

This globe was purchased as a gift for my wife. She loves to travel and has wanted a globe to reference for her trip planning. She loved the globe and I was pleasantly surprised how easy the globe was to assemble. It arrived in one box and was packed extremely well. The globe and stand is beautiful and is now a piece a furniture in our home as well as a reference.

Globe arrived well packaged, even though it looked like it had "suffered" somewhat at the hands of the shipper but the contents were well packaged and cushioned from dropping and having other items tossed and stacked on it. Unpacking was a snap, assembly was a "no brainer" and only required a few moments to place the stand in the location I had picked-out beforehand and place the Globe on the stand...how much simpler could that be. We have a spot light shining on the globe such that there is a "day-side" and a "night-side". Everyone who sees it can't resist commenting on it and the grandkids love looking at it as they spin the Globe around. Our son, who is an architect, loves it because it is a Frank Lloyd Wright item. My wife, I and grandchildren highly recommend this Globe. If there are any defects in its construction, for us, it is of no problem or concern.
