This was delivered quickly, my grandkids love playing with it, we all think it is a beautiful thing, makes geography fun!

I bought this topo globe along with the same-size political globe. The pair is just what I wanted. I keep them both handy, look things up on the political globe while watching the news or reading, and then check out the physical features on the topo globe. I can toss them over to other family members so they can see what we're discussing... great! Only downside: I have to add a bit of air every week or two.

The size is great and it is more fun for my 4 year old to be able to play and learn that just look at a small globe that sits on a desk.
I would have like darker borders for the counties. They are a little hard to see. I think the light blue globe would have been better for that.

The combination of topo. coloring,dark blue H20, and geo.political boundaries,and clearly printed names makes this 27" ball a great instructional tool. The third grade classes love finding locations from their home city and using it in group activities (such as passing it backwards to "go back in time" to ancient cultures.
