The Emily Globe with classic Antique Ocean's featuring a political warm earth tone style map is mounted with a unique full-swing meridian allowing the globe to be turned in any direction for a full view. The detailed political map cartography perfectly blends with the wood inner arched stand with 1,000's of up-to-date points of interest.

This globe includes illumination with an inline on/off switch. The illumination adds a brighter view of the globe from inside out, making the cartographic features stand out even more. The stand also is mounted with casters, making it convenient to move without having to pick it up.
While this globe can be located in any space, it is perfect as a corner unit, allowing your or your quests to see the forward facing of the globe without distraction the distraction of a wrap around stand.

The illumination feature sets this globe far above a non-illuminated model--don't underestimate how valuable and handsome the illuminated globe is! I would recommend considering replacing the included light bulb with an LED bulb for even greater illumination with less heat....

The globe came well packaged and arrived quickly. Assembly was simple. Excellent design allows globe to be turned in any direction without obstruction. Having it on casters is a nice feature for moving it about. I also enjoy the illumination of this globe. I recommend this product.

Well constructed with real wood components. Thought they would be laminate but they are not. Best price I have found on a larger size globe. Impressive design allows turning of the globe in any direction. Received in two days.
