Reminiscent of 80’s National Geographic globes (which this company probably made). Good size for teaching small children, with the relief something they can touch. So far a hit with the 2½ y.o. granddaughter.
Adults and children love them. They can be entertaining and educational for all ages.
After a globe arrived broken from a different manufacturer and seller, I found this one. It's packed with information, is sturdy on its metal base, and I love the full-swing meridian. I bought this for myself, for my 81st birthday, to keep up with world events.
Looks great in my china cabinet. Works with natural room light, faster when I turn on the cabinet lights.

We bought this to have at home and use with our two kids (11-14). When they want something we give them some country names to write on the globe. Even if they look them up, they’ll still be learning. And this globe makes the learning fun. It’s good quality and a good size for finding countries and writing names.
This globe is stunning. Gorgeous wooden base and very pleasing to the eye. Packaged well and shipped very quickly.
Better than expected. The base has less red undertones in person which I personally prefer and the company was really responsive with shipping updates. Highly recommended.
A much needed reference globe to provide my [flat map challenged] wife a 3-D reference for when she reads books that involve traveling between exotic locations. A good globe with enough detailed political and topographical information for adults to enjoy.

The item was delivered early and just want an 11 year old wanted.
The sections of printed material that make up the surface of the globe have several places where they do not line up exactly. Some instances of this are as far off as an eighth of an inch, which does not sound like a lot but on a globe like this where the information is pretty crowded, it makes a difference. Otherwise, the mechanical construction is good and the level of detail is good.
