This particular piece showcases the 60 degree angled legs and the circular top of a small accent table designed for the exclusive Dining Pavilion of the San Marcos in the Desert Project in Chandler, Arizona.
The building was never constructed due to the 1929 stock market crash, but the design and interior renderings contain a variety of attractive furniture and decorative features. These features have been harnessed into a singular world globe, creating a stunning and unique world globe that can't be found anywhere else.
The San Marcos Globe stands a total of 22 inches tall and features a superbly designed antique ocean style map with full-swing meridian mounting that perfectly complements the rich walnut wood that comprises the stand. Champagne toned oceans provide the perfect backdrop for copper-toned, rustic styled landmasses, creating a style that is unique to this one of a kind work of art.
